Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Ryu Hayabusa - Ninja Gaiden, Kaiyodo

Ryu Hayabusa from the action game NINJA GAIDEN series is now available in Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi, the action figure brand from model manufacturer Kaiyodo! Pre-orders are being accepted from Monday, May 27, 2024 to Thursday, July 25, 2024. The figure is scheduled to be released in January 2025.

Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Ryu Hayabusa

Ryu Hayabusa from the super-fast ninja action game NINJA GAIDEN series from Koei Tecmo Games is now available in Amazing Yamaguchi. Since his first appearance in the 2D action game Ninja Gaiden for both arcades and the Famicom in 1988, Ryu Hayabusa has appeared in popular titles such as the Dead or Alive: Warriors Orochi series, making him a hero that Koei Tecmo Games is proud of around the world. In Amazing Yamaguchi, Ryu Hayabusa is recreated in a more modern ninja suit style than in his leading title, NINJA GAIDEN 2. His muscular proportions and details inspired by high-tech materials have been sculpted with the same precision as in the game. He comes with a wide variety of weapons used in the game, including the Demon-Repelling Sword Ryuken, which can be unsheathed from the sheath on his back, as well as a Kusarigama, Shuriken, and Hard-Shelled Raptor Claw.

In addition to the elaborate movements by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi-sensei, such as the splitting of the chest side to allow the shoulders to move forward and backward, and the expression of flexibility by adding joints to the shins, the wrist parts, such as the handles for each weapon and the gesture of making a hand sign, are selected in a ninja-like way, making it possible to reproduce ninja actions using various weapons. The hard-shelled raptor claws, which are equipped with sharp blades on the hands and feet and can cut through enemies, are reproduced by replacing the arm and leg parts. The silhouette and fighting style change dramatically with the weapons, further expanding the range of actions.

The sharp eyes glaring from under the mask can be adjusted using the movable eyeball gimmick, and the scarf, which is sculpted to flutter in the wind, can be moved with a joint at the base, allowing you to create even cooler action poses.
