To commemorate the 50th anniversary of BANDAI SPIRITS' hugely popular "Chogokin" brand, a commemorative version of "Chodenji Machine Voltes V," which was also remade into a live-action film in the Philippines, is being re-released! "Chogokin Damashii GX-31SP Chodenji Machine Voltes V CHOGOKIN 50th Ver." will be available for pre-order at general retailers starting September 1st, 2026 (Tuesday)! To commemorate the 50th anniversary of "Chogokin" in 2024, Voltes V appears in a commemorative version. The silver parts are plated, paying homage to the original "Chogokin." The paint job is based on the previously released "GX-31V," but has been adjusted to match the anime style. Soft material is used for the electromagnetic string. The method of attaching weapons such as the Voltes Bazooka follows that of the "GX-31V." The Voltes Heavy Tank form can also be reproduced. The hawk mecha can be connected using a new joint! The Bolt Cruiser pays homage to "Popinica" by adding a white line to its head. The Bolt Bomber's upper and lower elbows and forearms have been changed to blue to match the design of Voltes V.
